my friendship with alusz went far beyond a normal game acquaintance...
i shared my life with him for 15 years and he influenced me deeply...

he sent me photos of
his 2 room apartment
his apartment building
his shopping center outside of Chagny
his place of work (agricultural school)
his canteen
his chemical laboratory
his old car

his work as an assistant consisted of setting up and dismantling the equipment for the teachers' chemical experiments... he had a modest salary, but he said he didn't want to teach because of the stress with the students.
he came from the chemical industry and lost his job in the 90s when there was a lot of unemployment

i know (knew) about his finances, wages, insurance, assets, his recently received inheritance...

his relationships...
father, sister and brother, niece, mother died at a young age

his health problems and the heart operation 2 years ago

I knew what he ate and what was in his new giant fridge...

and of course his latest expensive computer with the huge 55 inch TV screen (photo of it in the archive)

I deeply miss him and his naïve clumsy quips
